2. A Grade below 80!
I have been spending half of my life in schooling and for the first time in my life, I have experienced having a grade below 80.
To some extent I thought of it as a shameful experience but up to some point in my life, in made me reach for the better.
Yes it was difficult to imagine but it was an eye-opener. It was like a mark that everybody has his or her own low times.
Mathematics became my weakest link. It is the very first subject that I got a grade below 80, well at first it was difficult to accept but as time goes by, you learn to laugh at it and make fun of yourself to the point that you don’t want to experience it again and make certain precautions and acts just in order to avoid such grade.
Time came and I did say there was an improvement. But the subjects were really reaching higher difficulties at a fast rate. It is I who must be able to go with the flow and slowly sway with it, adapt it and challenge yourself to surpass it. It was exhausting but it was beautiful.
The lesson I got from this experience is the fact that we are to expect the worst that we could ever bear. This is for us to be ready to accept the equally grueling consequences that come our way and the equally hurtful events that will slowly unfold in front of us.
It is always by learning every time we fall that we get to measure one’s strength and wisdom. It is by implementing what we try to say that we get to calculate a person’s consistency and strength upon a decision and it is by failing that we get to stand up and realize that the best way to overcome failure is to fail it come into you.
1. Friends
It is said that the best part of living is when your family become your friends and when your friends become a part of your family.
Living with friends who are so dear is like living with a companion for all the days of your life. In those times where you were scared of the people around you, they are always there to a guiding ang motivating strength, for you to move on.
For those times where you can’t seem to do anything else but to laugh and laugh they are always there to share a giggle even if they themselves are on the verge of crying. For those times when you are about to blurt out a cry, even though they are at the top of the mountain of ecstasy, they would still go down and go with you in the rocky road of your tears.
These friends are not just your peers in times of joy and bounty but also, they prove to be your greatest asset when even in your times of struggle and times where everybody seem to find fault in you, they are still there waiting to be gripped and waiting to be slapped by your hurting heart.
Every now and then we may find a person who can be with us in those times when we need company but still, it prove difficult to find a friend who could take you to happy and heights and be with you in depressing downs. Friendship is not measured in the times you spent together, how long and short these may be but it is measured through the quality of the time spent, the love shown and the gratitude’s sincerity.
